"We were there for 1 night. Arrived at 9:30pm, checked in without issue. Upper parking lot is a little sketchy but it is well lit & we left in the morning without incident. The room was clean, sheets were very soft & the a/c was cold. Couldn't ask for anything more. There was a basic breakfast of cereal, bagels, & assorted mini-muffins & mini-donuts with coffee & juice. Staff was very friendly. It was a perfect place to crash for the night."

"Property was beautiful everywhere we looked. Pool was clean and staff was attentive. Nice and well behaved crowd, except in the end a few loud kids that were playing rough (I believe it was an exception). Nice views, clean and comfy room, easy check in/out. Minor complaints: giant chess game needs maintenance, one of the umbrellas in the pool was broken and it took a while until someone took it away (it felt and it could hurt someone). Id love more food options in the front desk (ran out of ice cream and other stuff). Gym and sauna also great, we played a lot of pickeball. Fun!!"

"Overall experience and accommodations were positive. We plan to return to the area within the next 3-6 months and plan stay at this property again, due to it’s convenient location. We hope to see improvements in the areas described below. We enjoyed breakfast in the hotel’s restaurant. The cost was a bit steep (for breakfast), but we anticipated that and so we weren’t surprised. The food was good, the presentation was appealing and the serving size plentiful. Our waitress was welcoming and attentive. I requested my eggs scrambled “soft” - they missed the mark on the “soft” part, but it was not a big deal. Next time we visit we will skip the coffee; we found it to be bitter. We’ll get our coffee from Nyack Bagels or Dunkin; their coffee is consistently good. The front office team was welcoming and helpful - good first impression. We requested bottle water, and the front desk gave it to us with a smile. We requested housekeeping each day. Surfaces were not wiped down, e.g. the bedside tables, which are glass/reflective. The toilet room door was missing a handle, which made it difficult to exit the toilet. The shower did not drain properly. The iron/ironing board was not re-stored, but was left on the table/desk. The iron was placed on its side and water ran out all over the table/desk. There are no cups in the room, which you need in order to put water in the iron. Except for the first day, our room did not have the right number of towels/wash cloths. We had to ask for them"

Microtel Inn by Wyndham Albany Airport

"I’ve stayed here many times and it’s a good resource especially if you’re going to the airport. Microtel rooms are small, hence the name. This property is well maintained for the most part. There are few accommodations for those with disabilities. Front door is a double pull, pull exercise and there is NO ELEVATOR, something I always seem to forget until I’m here. The halls are long and carpeted which make pulling luggage tedious or problematic. The rooms and beds are comfortable and the staff is friendly."
