"honestly felt a bit bamboozled by the booking. The photos online clearly showed a sauna overlooking a hot spring, which was a big reason I chose this hotel. When I arrived, that feature simply did not exist at the property. It felt like false advertising, and that was pretty disappointing. The only relaxation amenity available was a hot tub with no jets. It’s basically just warm water. For a hotel promoting relaxation, that was a bit of a letdown. Like… come on. The room itself was alright—nothing spectacular, but it was clean and comfortable enough for a stay. The staff were very quiet, but they were polite and respectful. The breakfast selection was decent, but if you’re staying multiple days it gets repetitive pretty quickly. It would be nice if they rotated the options a bit, because eating the exact same breakfast every morning for several days isn’t great. Overall the stay was okay, but the misleading photos online really set the wrong expectation, which ended up being the most disappointing part of the experience."

"Apartament is a new, but 5th bed is on coach, it is not a problem but there is problem with the window, there is small window close to celling permanently open, it can't be close. And with wind 90 km per hour outside and rain comfort is very low..."

"Our stay was fantastic! The hotel was clean and well-equipped, and the location was amazing. The staff were incredibly friendly. We had great Mexican food in the food hall, and then we went to the brewery just two minutes away, which was fantastic. We also took a hike up the hot springs, which are only a five-minute drive away."

"Beautiful room, clean and heated and lit well. Only complaint would be the bathroom / shower, where there was a leak and also motion-sensored so the lights turned off after only 2 minutes. "

"The owner of the property is very nice. We didn’t expect that we would get free waffles in the morning. She also gave us many advices to explore the surrounding area. We learned a lot about the culture, the society and the folks of Iceland through the communication with her."
