The location was amazing and the beds were super cozy. We chose an igloo that did not have a private bathroom attached. I was worried this would be an issue but the experience was so cool, I didn’t even care. Also had a chance to see northern lights (which was the goal). Slept so good!
Was a great location with an amazing view when we woke in the morning. Couple of notes .. food is not close , school Bus coffee stop a must and when you take a hot shower close the door to the dome to avoid fogging up your dome. Highly recommend
Very nice, clean place to sleep. I wish the igloos were alittle farther apart, we saw more of our neighbors than we wanted to!! They thought of every little thing and made sure you were super comfortable!
This place is awesome! Warm and cozy, they thought of everything. Eyemasks to block out sun and earplugs if needed, shampoo and conditioner, a common area with showers and coffee if you dont get a room with a bathroom connected, gorgeous view. When we checked in, our code was initially wrong and the second room was confusing but the host was immediately available and very helpful when I called. WE LOVED IT! :) thank you!
This place was 'knock your socks off' amazing! It was so cute. It was so clean and cozy. They had a letter written to us about places to eat and grocery stores near by-
You cannot beat this place! If we come back to iceland- we would stay here again in a heartbeat.
An absolute wonderful stay. The best in Iceland. The staff was helpful and understanding, the igloos were immaculate and well designed, free parking was great and a big deal when travelling Iceland and great shopping right next door.
Thank you!
Overall, I had a nice stay at Aurora Igloo. It was a great and unique experience that made my trip memorable. The accommodations were comfortable, and the atmosphere was relaxing. I would recommend it to anyone looking for something different from a traditional hotel stay.
Such fun even on non northern lights season. Watched horses all night long. Perfect restaurant down the way called The Barn! Divine. Get the fish special. Travelled with two other couples. Our heater didn’t work, but both of theirs did. Was perfect for a fun experience different from a hotel room. Would do it again even solo for the serenity!
The room was awesome though there was a small spot on the extra blanket and the chair cushions were a little stained. Cannot stress enough how cool this experience was.

Bathroom are not well maintained! The walk to the bathroom is long as well. Still very good experience
A wonderful and magical place. Recommending this to everyone visiting Iceland. Don’t plan anything in the evening, just stay in the igloo and enjoy the sunset and the serenity.

Amazing hotel - so easy to find and park! Comfortable bed, spacious bathroom considering it’s just an add on to the dome. Perfect way to see the stars or the northern lights if you’re lucky!!
