One night sleep near a volcano

One quick overnight stay. Staff was very accommodating for our early arrival. Rooms were clean, quiet and comfortable. Unfortunately, we had to leave early for the ferry departure and weren't able to enjoy the complimentary breakfast.

This simple guesthouse was in a perfect location and was very clean and safe. We wanted extra pillows and they were brought to us. I appreciated having a couch to sit on, it's nice to have the extra seating area. Also appreciated the fridge in the hallway.

Guesthouse Hamar is in a great location, only a few blocks from the ferry (leave your car on the mainland if you don’t really need to drive on Westmann Island). The room was a lot bigger than I thought. Shower was a little tight, but ok. Breakfast was included which was good as well. Walls are a bit thin, but there wasn’t anyone up late, so it didn’t bother us at night. Very happy with this 1 night stay.

Comfy and clean! Guesthouse Hamar is located super close to the ferry and there's lots of free parking around the building. I'd recommend this place to anyone who is visiting Heimaey!
