The apartment we stayed was just furnished, with all the new furnitures and tools. All places in it are super clean, with a very large toilet with two washing machines, drying area. All things and tools are clearly described by the host or stated in the in-room menu. My family and I had a wonderful time staying there and wished that we've booked more days in it.

Lovely apartment that 3 of us stayed in. The sofa bed was super easy to pull out and was comfortable and you couldn’t beat the views! The restaurant also had amazing food with views of the Fjiord. It was a perfect place to stay that made it super easy to get the ferry!

We rented an apartment on this property. Back patio has great views of the fjord; the apartment is spacious and clean, and the bed is comfortable. My only complaint is that breakfast was not included, but we weren’t aware of that at check-in. Breakfast options were very lacking compared to the other hotels we stayed at in Norway. For $15 a person, it was not worth it. Wouldn’t have ate there if we had known it wasn’t included.

The best thing about this place was the amazing views. We chose the sea view room and it was amazing. You could lay in bed and look out and see the beautiful fjords. We had room 1 and the view couldn’t be beat. The hosts were friendly and lovely as well.

It was a great stay, we had a lovely, clean and cozy room, the couple running the place are true professionals, polite and attentive. We also had dinner at the hotel's restaurant and it was truly delicious. Great hotell alltogether

Cozy little hotel overlooking the fjord.
Cozy little hotel overlooking the fjord. Just next to the ferry crossing area. Not too much around the hotel but very pretty views. The hotel looks to be family run and has a very nice restaurant area.

The manager was warm and welcoming and very helpful. He offered many suggestions for activities which we would’ve enjoyed had the weather been better. We ate lunch and dinner in the dining room and were quite pleased with the selections and the quality of food served. We thought that our reservation included breakfast and were disappointed to find out that it was not part of the Expedia booking. Not the hotel’s fault. Lovik Fjordhotell is just right for someone who enjoys an intimate accommodation with very personal service in a lovely setting. Highly recommended!

It is a family owned hotel. Very friendly staff. Room is big and clean. The price is very reasonable. Location is wonderful just looking out the ferry boat.

This hotel is run by the nicest people! They rooms were spacious and very clean, the food was delicious and we LOVED sitting on the deck in the afternoon overlooking the fjord! We highly recommend this hotel!

Beautiful quiet location
We were passing through on our road trip and stayed at this lovely little family owned hotel. The water facing room was beautiful as we watched the sun set and the ferries come and go. Not much to eat in the area except at the hotel, which served homely meals at reasonable prices.

Great stay at the Lavik Fjord Hotell
We stayed for the night in the Lavik Fjord Hotell. The hotel is located on the lake and nearby the ferry leading from Lavik to Oppedal, a perfect location. The staff has been very nice and helpful. For the family, we booked two rooms, and we got two adjacent rooms with a small connecting hallway, almost a suite. One of the rooms had a nice balcony watching the lake. Lavik Fjord Hotell has been a great experience!

Excellent Stay
We stayed just one night to break up a long journey to Bergen. However we wished we had stayed longer. There are possibilities to hire bikes and go walking which we could not do due to lack of time. Both dinner and breakfast were good. The room was particularly comfortable and a lot of care and effort put into the outdoor seating area with lots of colourful flowers etc. The weather was cold and wet for our short stay so we could not sit out. However there was a pleasant lounge with board games and a great view of the Fjord. Overall an excellent place to stay.

Schönes Hotel. Es war alles in Ordnung. Freundliche Betreiber, solides Restaurant-Essen. Der Ort selbst gibt außer der Fährverbindung nicht viel her. Als Zwischenstation würden wir es ohne Bedenken wieder wählen.
