Independent in Howard Island

"Nice size for 2 adults. Would have been nice if there was salt and pepper but we made due. Shower a bit tiny, but better than some places we have stayed."

"The place was great and so quiet. The cell reception and WiFi was poor at best, which made the place even BETTER! The fridge was a bit noisy but acted as “white noise “ while sleeping so it was fine. There was a bit of a musty smell but it’s a small cabin in the woods, open a window and let the amazing smell of the forest air in. I wish the cabin had either a wood burning stove or fireplace. Gus, our 2 year old Cattle Dog felt right at home and loved every second of his Drummond Island Adventure!The place was perfect and can’t wait to go back again next year, hopefully for a longer trip. "

"Check in was easy however i was a bit off put that the lady at the front desk was checking in another guest over the phone and had the guy on speaker phone which allowed myself and another guy to hear to hear all of the guys personal info including credit card info."

"Wonderful place to stay. Outdoor hot tub was a great way to relax after a day of hiking and fishing. Quiet and peaceful. Even the pup loved it. "
