"Enjoyed our stay. Staff very friendly and helpful. Lovely room (a bit warm but Scotland has been warmer than usual this year!). Great leisure facilities-enjoyed relaxing in the pool, sauna, jacuzzi etc. Breakfast delicious and plenty choices. "
"We booked an overnight here while attending a surprise 50th birthday party. We were met by Bruce who showed us to our apartment, we were over the moon with it, it was absolutely 1st class. We finished our night off in The Star Hotel bar downstairs, so was just a short trip upstairs to bed, which i thought would have been noisy tbh, but we never heard a thing. We would definitely recommend staying here, great little place."
"Loved this area and the hotel staff! Everyone super nice and helpful.
The area was great! It had many shops and some restaurants. I recommend Ruby nail salons (great pedicure and massage chairs!). I also must mention that I had an excellent massage therapy session with Suzanne at Saatva Wellness Center!
As to the hotel, dining was really good! On-site was a pool and sauna. There is an elevator from ground to first floor only. I was very grateful to be able to get a first floor room as I have mobility issues. The room I had was very nice! Lovely view of other local area and neighbor garden from my room. Nice size bathroom. Beautiful outside seating area. Great breakfast and bakery offerings in the lobby.
Only minor disappointment: hot tub not working in the pool area."
"Station hotel well worth the money , room was ok dated but clean ,
Breakfast was excellent on both days ,
We had dinner in the hotel - excellent the steak pie was magic best I have tasted , Carnoustie is a magical quant place with a smashing wee Bakers all home made food , We just love staying in Carnoustie , well worth a visit ."
"WoW, I wish we could have stayed longer! Room was spacious, house is huge and extremely comfortable. Free beverages and snacks! Breakfast was unbelievably awesome!!! The smoked salmon was the best I ever had. Thank you so much, the hosts go way above and beyond!!!!"
"This little place bucks the trend where other establishments are failing and has charm in abundance.
From entry to exit, everything is just done right. The room was spacious, clean and well maintained. The ensuite bathroom was again well maintained with large shower. There are other personal touches within the room such as fresh milk provided and a baked treat daily.
Then there is the breakfast, an expertly cooked Scottish breakfast with fresh coffee, juices and the most insane, cloud like pancakes.
The owners are brilliant, great conversation, interesting and have a lovely backstory.
Location wise, it is very quiet aand safe around the B&B, with European travelers choosing it as a base to see local landmarks. I used it as my base for the Oil and Gas show up the road in Aberdeen and will do so again next time."
