It was peaceful, quiet, perfect for my early morning yoga—followed by a delightful and filling homemade breakfast—a couple hours walking, then plenty of uninterrupted time to put pen to paper. "It’s just right next to the station and the Carnoustie beach . Lovely staff , they allowed me to check in early and drop off my bag . There’s a Coop about 2 minutes walk . Lovely cafes . I would recommend to have lunch at The Rockery ( located Golf course ) . Enjoyed my stay at this hotel "

"We were only in Stonehaven for one night. However, the Ship Inn was a great choice. We (4 of us) had dinner there and it was excellent! The waiting-staff was very friendly and helpful. We had included breakfast there the next morning as well and we were glad we did with made-to-order items as well as some buffet-choices. The rooms were comfortable and the view of the harbor was wonderful. "
