Rooms aren’t soundproofed at all (you can hear people going to the toilet as well as doors in the corridor) and the gap under the door lets light in. Very cheap and cheerful for an overnight stay. Wasn’t my worst night sleep ever but have slept better. "

"The barn was better than described, there was everything I could possibly need, bed was warm and comfortable and the barn was squeaky clean. The location is idyllic and there are beautiful cows and sheep to watch. The highlight was the log burner that was very welcome on a cold and rainy February night. The host was lovely and easily contactable"

"3 adults staying 4 nights, Monday to Friday, for work in the area. Didn't get to see the sites, but the accommodation was a nice play to stay. Easy to find (recommend using What3Words, not postcode on Maps) and access. Good stable Wi-Fi, TV, clean bedding and towels, and the little extras (milk, bread, biscuits, tea, coffee, crisps) were a lovely touch. It has all the facilities you need for a longshort stay. We also had a small interaction with the owner who was a nice gentleman. Would definitely recommend."

What I CAN add is that, rather than just 'doing what it takes', Philip & Sarah really have gone 'above & beyond'. "The house was comfortable for our family get together with large bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, lounge and kitchen. We especially enjoyed the outside seating area for a pre dinner drink. It is excellently located very near the town centre and a park and also nearby is a very good garden centre."
