"This was a last minute booking because everything else was full. Price wise it was more than we wanted for one night and unplanned. The second we opened the door we knew that we made the right choice! Then we walked out on the balcony and sat down to a view of denali and it's mountains! It was at this point that we decided next trip up to denali this will be out chosen accommodations! And yes, for multiple nights!"

"Very good property nestled in woods. The road to the hotel is uphill however the shuttle service is really good. The staff is very helpful and we very much enjoyed our stay. Just one point to note - If you arrive from Fairbanks by train you reach hotel by 12:30 pm and your room may not be ready till 4pm. It happened to us and we would have appreciated clear timeline for room availability so that we could have used those 4 hrs going to visitor center in the Denali park."

"Great family vacation home. Perfect location with stunning views out every window. Close to the village where most of our excursions left from yet deep enough in the woods to get a feel for what it’s like to live there. We were thrilled we got to watch a mama moose & her twins in the driveway one evening. Thoughtful amenities and signage/labels to find what we needed. Suggestion book was very helpful and spot on. Wine & cookies were a nice touch as well. Although we made it work, 1 shower for 9 people was definitely challenging. However, even when we all had to shower in the same night, there was warm water for all. Would definitely consider coming back to this home!!"

"My partner and I had a beautiful stay at the Moonrise Cabin. The view from the cabin is breathtaking and serene and we spent our nights there relaxing and enjoying it in the cozy cabin. Our first night we saw a moose and her two calves snacking on brush just up the road!The cabin is small as you would expect, but laid out very nicely. Everything was clean, outhouse was exactly as expected and stocked with toiletries and wipes. Very close to Denali National Park but away from the summer crowds. Becky and Terry were great hosts and quickly answered any questions and also made sure we were stocked with water. We had an amazing time and definitely would come and stay again and recommend the Moonrise Cabin to our family and friends! This was our first time in Alaska and we cannot wait to return :)"
