Staff and location were amazing. Only reason this didn’t get a higher rating was the noise. Could hear every step of the person above us. Otherwise they had great restaurants, views were awesome as well as the convenience of being close to Denali park entrance and lots of cute shops nearby

We loved the Denali Bluffs hotel, from the time we were picked up at the rail depot, the staff and the ride to the hotel everything was wonderful. I loved the room and the view however the bathroom sink was very clogged and that was gross but we were there for a night so i just let it go. Otherwise the room and the hotel location was awesome i would love to come back to stay here again.

Great staff, beautiful hotel. One great feature was that I was traveling by train and when I got on in Anchorage, they asked me what hotel in Denali and my bags were automatically sent to the hotel and direct to my room so I didn’t have to bother with my bags which was a great convenience. All of the staff were very helpful and super friendly.

For the cost of the room, I was disappointed with it. It was a small, two queen bedroom. The beds were quite hard and the layout is what you would expect for a Comfort Inn level of hotel: not an over $700/night (after taxes and fees) location. While I know the season is short here, that price was outrageous given the lack of amenities and comfort level. There is no view from many of the rooms, especially ours. We could see the woods behind us and that is all. I asked for a room that would be good for an elderly man with a cane and did get a ground floor room, but it was the one furthest from the bus stop. If you get a decent price, this is an adequate place to stay, but don't overpay like I did. It is shameful what they charged for a mediocre room with no breakfast, no perks, and very few amenities. It's only feature is distance to Denali. Do yourself a favor, if you have to stay here, and take their free shuttle up to the Grand Denali Lodge to eat and to take in the views from that location. Denali Bluffs appears to be their overflow location and not nearly as good.

Fun at the Bluffs

Employees were great! They were friendly and very helpful! Hotel was clean. The room was spacious and the view was beautiful! I enjoyed my stay and recommend this hotel. I will definitely stay there again!
