Very private but yet close to all of Denali's activities & services. Nick named Denali's Hidden Gem, Fun for the whole family. Open June 1 to September 15. Pets not allowed in the house. The Homestead Cabin is very rustic, with plywood floors and several level changes, so it may not be ideal for anyone with mobility concerns. It was well equipped for a larger group, although there were only two of us. Its step hillside climb made it difficult if you didn’t drive everywhere. The property had several nice views and outdoor sitting areas and was very private, unlike many other properties we saw nearby. Unfortunately, the service was disappointing. We arrived early at the RV park office and were made to wait until exactly 4pm to check in, with little flexibility or helpfulness. More concerning, a cleaning crew arrived early one day without notice and entered the cabin unannounced while we were showering and getting ready. That was inappropriate and a serious privacy and security issue.

As described. Perfect for our family. Very peaceful and private. Road in definitely needs a 4-wheel drive but central to everything we needed.Well stocked kitchen. Could use a few more utensils for the grill but other than that, was great. Looks like it’s being renovated but worked for us!Thank you for a great stay in Denali!

Like staying at a cousin’s cabin

This was a really amazing place for our family (2 adults, 13, 12, and 8yos). It was so close to Denali we were able to get in and out of the park in minútese the cabin is extremely private up the side of a hill with amazing views of the surrounding mountains. It is very spacious with a large kitchen table and tons of room to spread out. Very comfortable for a family looking for some space and close proximity to the park. Would 100% stay here again if we’re back in the area.

Great location

This house is in a great location for Denali Park. Several good restaurants in walking distance ( if you dont mind a bit of a climb). The house has the basics but is not a "gourmet" setup. We weren't expecting one so it was not an issue. I would describe it as rustic but comfortable and you cant beat the locationlication. Very quiet

Nice Economy Option

Nice, multi-bedroom property near the Denali National Park entrance. Kitchen is well appointed. It is at the end of the driveway / road and is surrounded by trees, but there is no views. Great for adults, probably recommend against bringing younger children. The floors aren't level and the steep ladder-stairs to the loft are a potential falling hazard for young ones.

What a gem! First, the check-in was very smooth and Pam gave us suggestions of what to do in the evenings. She is delightful. The cabin was just terrific, so fitting for the locale! The five of us had plenty of room to spread out, and the kitchen really was the hub of the home. It is secluded, but not far at all from shops, restaurants, and the park. The beds were comfy and everything was clean. We enjoyed eating outside and taking in fresh air. Having a w/d was an added bonus. There were plenty of games if you are interested and a tv where my crew watched bits of the World Cup. We really enjoyed our stay! Thank you!

The Denali Homestead is in a fantastic location for visiting the park and getting to all the activities, shops, and restaurants in the area. It’s also well-maintained and spacious. We truly enjoyed our three-night stay there!

Did not realize that the office to check in was the same as the RV park, but once we realized that everything went smoothly. The house was nice and secluded yet very walkable to everything Denali had to offer. Extremely steep road and driveway to get to the house, so be prepared. Would definitely stay again.

Tucked away house in a hill

The place was bigger than I expected from the listing. It was tucked up in a private nook on the hill side. It served our family of 5 quite nicely and gave us a place to rest from our adventures in Denali park. Very close to all the activities in the area but somehow hidden enough that all that seemed so far.

Beautiful and peaceful

Wonderful stay. Thought the beds and the rooms they were in were small. It slept 6 people but 2 people (married) had to sleep in separate locations

Great Denali Cabin

We had a wonderful time at the Denali Homestead. The location cannot be beat, and it is rustic enough to feel Alaskan and outdoorsy but big and comfortable as well. Hands down one of the coolest and most unique places our family has stayed. The owners are super nice, check in was easy, and you can walk to dinner at the Crows Nest! Lots of privacy.
