Initial finding of the property was difficult because the street looked like a drive way to a strip mall. But when we arrived it was worth it.

Hood river condo

Clean and comfortable home. Bring spices if you need. The house only has salt and pepper and no oils.

Nice but dirty

Overall the layout/bedrooms were good. Open spaces ample and the kitchen very functional. The carpets, floors, outdoor deck, windows, front porch filthy. We had a crawling 7 month old and the floors were filthy. Carpet smelled like pets. Made us feel uncomfortable.

Hood River gem

Excellent property, convenient location to town. Nice amenities and comfortable beds, well stocked kitchen. It is very close to the rear of a shopping center and the HVAC drones 24/7 very noticeable with open windows. The master patio faces front and does not have enough window coverings if you preferr it dark. The other bedrooms do stay pretty dark. Lots of stairs to climb to the main floor and bedrooms. Overall it was very nice stay.

Great Wedding Accommodation at the Downwinder

The property was perfect for our party of 8 adults visiting Hood River for our daughter's wedding. Plenty of room for everyone, good parking, comfortable beds and we made great use of the kitchen and lounge for family gatherings. Communication with the host was excellent and instructions for entry and exit were very clear and easy to implement. We didn't have a working AC system when we first arrived which was unfortunate, especially as Hood River was experiencing some hot weather. This problem was taken care of the next day however so grateful for the quick service. The house could also do with some rug and carpet cleaning, some cobweb clearing and some work on the screen sliders which did not open easily. A very enjoyable stay however and I would recommend the Downwinder to anyone looking for a large place to stay when visiting Hood River.

Great home, however some minor things need to be fixed

Carpets need to be cleaned. faucet in jack and jill bathroom upstairs is slow to drain, cabinet under kitchen cabinet does not close properly. hard to open patio door. outdoors furniture and deck has not been cleaned. left over pizza was in oven from previous renters. chair in bunk room needs to be replaced. side door was unlocked before we came, rugs in living room have rolled corners. a tripping hazard. minor things but house could be stellar if fixed!!!!!

Nice unit with easy access to downtown. Three good sized bedrooms. Unfortunately the compost container in the garage smelled up the entry and first floor. As well the carpets were significantly stained.

Hood River Stay

It was a great spot. Clean, AC was very efficient, great views, lots of natural light, it had everything we needed as a home base for nearby adventures. I'd definitely stay here or at one of their other properties again.

Great family home close to downtown!

We took a quick weekend trip to Hood River with the kiddos and this place was a hit. The layout was perfect. It was very private, clean, and centrally located. We will definitely be back. Already planning another trip in the Summer because the kids loved it.

Great House

House for my friends and I very comfortably!! Very clean. It’s a bit of a trek to get into town. It was pretty hot when we went so we’d walk into town for exercise and Uber back. We really enjoyed our stay. I would stay here again.

Comfortable and clean

We had a lovely stay. Location was perfect for day trips to local attractions with amazing outdoor spaces. Enjoyed clean hot tub at the end of the day. Description does not indicate if there are co2 monitors but there are 3 that I counted. One on each floor. Kitchen was very clean and well stocked with dishes and utensils. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Easter In Hood River

My husband, daughter, close friend and her 3 kids and I had a wonderful stay at this property! Close to downtown and conveniently 2 minutes away from either Walmart or Safeway. The separate levels of the house made it nice for the kids to have their own space as well as the adults. The only thing I recommend is bringing your own spices if you plan on cooking meals at the home! There was only salt and pepper available at the home. 10/10 recommend this home for your stay in Hood River!
