We stayed here for a week and loved the location. When going to beach they provide you with beach towels, beach chairs and mats. Very convenient. Forget toiletries at home- they provided plenty of shampoo, conditioner, lotion, bar soap and body wash.

Vive Hotel Waikiki - Honolulu Hotels

Vive Hotel Waikiki

"Excellent Location, short walk to beach (3 blocks)"
Overall, excellent stay. Hotel Staff (Desk, Valet, Housekeeping, and Concierge) were excellent, professional, and very courteous. Room was small but functional, very clean/well maintained with working A/C and mini fridge. Hotel appears to have been renovated within last few years. Breakfast was mainly fruits and pastries with coffee, tea, and pineapple juice. Beach gear (chairs, towels, bamboo matts, umbrella) available from front desk for day use. Given the price and services provided with high courtesy I would stay there again as the Staff and location made for a pleasant experience!

Lotus Honolulu at Diamond Head - Honolulu Hotels

Lotus Honolulu at Diamond Head

"Quiet retreat from the hustle of Waikiki "
I've stayed at many hotels in Waikiki over the years. The lotus is by far the best kept secret. It's on the outskirts of Waikiki and is super quiet which is why we chose this hotel, in the first place. I've never slept so soundly in a hotel , ever! The beds are super comfortable and in the morning when the sun rises all you hear are birds singing - it was truly a treat. no noise from construction which is on every block it seems in Waikiki. Only birds chirping ! Heavenly! My husband and I were travelling with our toddler son for the very first time, nerve racking to say the least.. but we couldn't have stayed at a more accomandating place. We felt the aloha spirit every interaction we had with the staff. The small beach is just steps away from the hotel . It's quiet and clean and my son had a blast playing in the water! Forgot to mention the coffee in the morning is the best!!! No need to wait in a long line at Starbucks the really deal awaits you in the lobby. Also I truly enjoyed the wine hour. The wine is very good to my surprise!! Very pleased with our stay and hope to return someday in the near future. Mahalo to the staff! You guys are the best and deserve a pat of the back.

Check in was very smooth. Hotel is looking over the marina, so no beachfront., but a great view of the ocean and sunset. Hotel serves very good food, but in addition, the Ravish Restaurant is also on the premises. This is one of the top five restaurants in Honolulu.

Stay Hotel Waikiki - Honolulu Hotels

Stay Hotel Waikiki

"Great staff and excellent location"
To be honest I was a bit disappointed when we checked into this little hotel because the room we stayed in did NOT resemble anything like the pictures on the website. It was very small and very minimal. That being said, the price of this hotel is amazing for the location you get. We were a block from all the great shopping and a block off Waikiki beach! Considering you don't really go to Hawaii to stay in your hotel room, this hotel is a great value and allowed us to spend money on more fun things like great restaurants and an impromptu catamaran ride right off Waikiki Beach (Mana Kai). The front desk staff was amazing! Super friendly and willing to help!

Shoreline Hotel Waikiki - Honolulu Hotels

Shoreline Hotel Waikiki

342 Seaside Ave, Honolulu - Map
"BEST Location for the price. "
You MUST read this to help you decide... my wife and I were first-timers to Hawaii and on a low budget. After reading MANY reviews of all the hotels in Waikiki, she found that SHORELINE kept coming up as a great place. Well, we weren't let down. Super clean, VERY supportive front staff, and seriously: the location. Some $500 hotels don't even have the proximity as the shoreline. We were RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE of everything. The only negative (if we HAD to write one) would be the bathroom. Not bad but the fancy high-end shower head is weak, and there's no place to put all your shampoos and stuff. Oh, and they even arranged a flat fee $30 taxi for us to the airport (that's cheap cause the meter went to $43). AND... the drinks in the lobby are a great thing to come home to on a hot day. Right out front you have: "ABC convenience" for all alcohol and trip snacks. "Crackin' Kitchen" seafood restaurant, "Japanese bento shop", Night market, and lively TIKI BAR hidden behind hotel. Wow!
