Charming 3-bedroom miners theme with WiFi and AC in fabulous Lead.

"Worked great for us! Best bang for your buck!! I definitely recommend staying here. We spent Thanksgiving here & did some trail riding with a rented Expedition from in Lead. We cooked breakfast every morning & it had all the kitchen utensils you would need. The grill cover from the previous people had covered up the hot water sensor outside & I had to bug the host on Thanksgiving— he was very responsive & helped me figure it out immediately. The water heater is on demand & it actually had great water pressure which is harder to come by in newer developments around here. The fenced in back yard worked great for dogs as we would let them roam while we hot tubbed in the back yard. If you have a larger dog they might try to get out to meander but we just kept an eye on ours. The fence isn’t super tall on one side & of course they found a hole to weasel out once. We did have to give the hot tub some TLC —there was some grime on the sides when we arrived that we wiped out and then we shocked it & ran the jets a day before we used it but it wasn’t a big deal for us. It’s a really nice modern hot tub & all the jets/lights worked. Note: If you stay in town at this place or any place in Lead over winter I would recommend you have 4wheel drive as the roads in town are very steep & can get icy quickly. If you stay here over winter months utilize the furnace thermostat as the mini splits are meant more for air circulation/ milder climates so they have to defrost every once in a while."
"Our stay was unfortunately cut short due to a family emergency. However, we absolutely loved the property. The refurbishing of the town hall was expertly done and very attractive. The bed was super comfortable (I believe the mattress was the same type as we have at home). If we ever make it to Lead in the future, we will be staying here. Also the partnership shared with the Stampmill restaurant made for convenient, friendly and delicious dinning! We loved it!"
"The whole experiance from check in all through the evening was a great experiance. It is an absolutly wonderful bar restuarant and victorian style room"
"We had decided we needed a quick vacation out of the hustle and bustle of the city and work. Sunset Ridge fit the bill. Hester was a great host, the cabin was clean and cozy. The trek up to the cabin is definitely out of the way but the gravel roads are well maintained. I wish it had been warmer so we could have used the fabulous deck more, but that's October in SD! Would definitely stay again. "

"Great stay! Nothing really negative to say, other than it would be nice to have a little more unobstructed view but that’s not a big deal, it is absolutely a great location regardless. "
