Check in was easy. Troy is a gem and made us feel right at home. Room was small but quaint and very clean. The over all Nostalgia & history of the hotel was warm & inviting. Fresh coffee and cold drinks in the lobby free of charge. Parking was easy and included at property. Perfect location in downtown Deadwood. We highly recommend and will stay there again.

Property is old but comfy. Adds to the historic aspect of a visit. Staff is very helpful with any issues. Had a problem with tv remote. Was taken care of right away.The location is very central to everything. We really liked our stay.

Fantastic hotel, fantastic staff, they could not have been any nicer and hospitable. I was very appreciative for reserved on site parking too. Room was very very comfy and quiet. And make sure to give the pizza a try, so good. I was able to catch the live music act Merlin as well and he delivered a solid show, what a character! Shout out to Elevator Johnnie for taking my luggage up 3 stairs at a time!

Perfect location, incredible beds!!

This was our 2nd time staying at The Iron Horse hotel. The owner, Joel, is a fantastic host and incredibly accommodating. The beds are amazing, weve even tried to find out where they purchased them! The hotel is historic and has many original elements. We will plan to stay here again in our next trip to Deadwood!

Very friendly staff! Great rooms with modern amenities that still have a historic western feel. Location is unbeatable and the parking is right on location. We will definitely be staying at the Iron Horse again.

The staff were really nice and understanding as we had shown up at the very last minute to check-in. Car parking was pretty nice and you can come and go as you please.
