Nestled in the coastal village of Salthouse, famous for its wild shingle beach and picturesque salt marshes, sits the delightful White End, a charismatic period cottage full of rustic charm and style. Perfect for a small family or a romantic getaway.
Tucked away on the peaceful village lane of Cross Street, White End exudes calm, invites relaxation and a distance glimpse of the coast and sea when the tide is high. Salthouse ticks many boxes; a popular village store and cafe, a great pub, wonderful marsh walks and a bracing shingle beach to tempt you. White End, with its flint walls, beautiful wooden beamed ceilings and traditional lime rendered walls, all beautifully reflected with appropriately laid back styling and sensitively muted decor, is a super option for all manner of holidaymakers: a couple, friends, a small family or a solo traveller; anyone looking for a relaxing break
On entering the cottage, you are welcomed into a spacious entrance hall, where boots and coats can be removed, steps lead to the first floor and doorways to the kitchen/diner and sitting room each sit to either side. The kitchen/diner is well-equipped, full of character with an exposed brick chimney and beamed ceiling: a fantastic space for cooking up a delicious meal. The sitting room to the other end of the entrance hall is homely and inviting, with cosy seating surrounding a warming wood burning stove when it's time to chill out and read your current favourite book or snuggle up and watch a film together.
Up the steep, but thankfully straight stairs, are two inviting bedrooms. A master bedroom with a king-size bed dressed with fresh crisp linen, plenty of storage and even a private staircase down to the kitchen; perfect for a discreet morning coffee run! The second cosy bedroom room has full size twin beds. Both are designed to ensure you have an excellent night's sleep. A large family bathroom sits between the two with both a walk-in shower, with rainfall shower head, and a standalone bath tub. Just the place to relax, refresh, soak away any stress and relax tired muscles.
Outside the enclosed garden is a lovely option for when it's warm and sunny and outdoor dining is the order of the day, or perhaps just taking the weight off your feet and breathing in some salty sea air.
Additional Information:
Two well-behaved dogs welcome (small additional charge).
