Accommodating up to six guests, this beautiful flint cottage is a welcoming retreat all year round, placing guests at the heart of an area of outstanding natural beauty.
Step into a welcoming entrance hall that leads to a beautifully inviting living room. Sink into sumptuous sofas by the soothing crackle of a wood-burning fire, with a SMART TV ready for cosy evenings in. A blend of contemporary style and country chic creates the ultimate retreat, perfect for unwinding after a busy day.
A well-equipped kitchen and dining space is ideal for a family to gather and enjoy a morning coffee or a home-cooked meal. The stylish kitchen comes complete with an oven, hob, microwave, kettle, toaster, dishwasher and Nespresso coffee machine (small selection of pods provided). There is also DAB radio with Bluetooth to provide the soundtrack to your stay.
The main bathroom is located on the ground floor and features a newly fitted double-ended bath and a shower.
Upstairs there are three bedrooms which can accommodate 4-6 people:
Bedroom 1: King size bed with plenty of storage and a DAB radio Bedroom 2: 3ft wide twin beds, LG SMART TV with Games mode and DAB radio Bedroom 3: Bunk beds which are suitable for children or teenager only. The bunk beds can be booked as an extra at a daily rate of £20
Linens and towels are provided, along with a hair dryer, iron, and ironing board, ensuring a comfortable and hassle-free stay.
Mays Cottage enjoys a sunny, south-facing courtyard garden which features outdoor seating, parasol and a gas BBQ - the perfect spot to enjoy the complimentary bottle of Prosecco you receive on arrival.
Things to know about the property
Mays Cottage does not have its own parking, however, there is free parking on the street directly outside of the cottage. There are also two visitor car parks close by. Guests are provided with a starter pack of logs, firelighters and kindling for the wood burner. A travel cot, highchair and stair gate can be provided upon request.
