"My husband and I had an amazing stay at Cheryl’s property. The original place we rented had some water issues so prior to our arrival, we were contacted and offered the Deerling which happened to be bigger with no additional charge. I really appreciated that, it was very nice and accommodating. The place was immaculate. So clean, cute decor, and very secluded which is exactly what my husband and I were looking for. We were able to bring our dog and he loved all the space to run around and explore outside.We are absolutely planning to unplug and come back next year. "
"You spend so much time picking a vacation spot for your family. It has to be affordable, clean, well taken care of and as described. We’ve been let down more times than I’d like to admit.We traveled in two cars and because my wife and I had to stop for a grocery pickup, my daughter, son and granddaughter went ahead to the rental and I was so relieved when I got a text “IT IS SO CUTE!”.A little later when we arrived with the groceries I was so happy when I seen them come out on the porch smiling and telling us we had to come inside to see it before unloading.How nice. It actually wasn’t as the photos showed…. It was much nicer! How often does that happen???Because of a family issue back home we weren’t able to stay the entire week, but communication with the owners was perfect. Kind, courteous, and most of all understanding.I’m into photography and wish I had photos to share that related to the rental more but because we had to leave I never got the chance.This is a gem folks. If you need to shut down a little and get back to what’s important, this is an incredible place to do it."

"Our family had a small reunion and this cabin was absolutely perfect for our stay. It met our every need and our stay was wonderful!The view is absolutely breathtaking and we even had our own personal fireworks show on the Fourth of July! "
"The only two downsides were a lack of WiFi and cell service (only available in the main house) and no GPS. They do send you very detailed directions, but if you are wholly unfamiliar with the area, it can be a little unsettling to be on winding roads outside of civilization with no cell service. I admittedly panicked (we drove for 12 straight hours overnight), and our friend was on the verge of declaring us missing because he couldn't get in touch with us. Obviously, we were totally fine and laughed about it later.
The resort itself was beautiful, quiet, and the staff were very friendly. The cabins were cozy and warm, as we were there in February/March when it was cold, and the exterior bath house was also very warm. It was clean and there was plenty of hot water.
I highly recommend if you're looking to escape into nature."
