Enjoyed a long weekend, and would come back again. Outdoor fire pit was wonderful. Deck was perfect for our one warm day. Couldn’t get enough of the peace and quiet. Good fishing and hiking close by.
We’ve made multiple trips to this cabin over the years and this little hide away cabin never disappoints. Being able to have a hot shower, WiFi, and a warm bed makes all the difference when you fish and hike all day. Also, the jacuzzi is great for loosing up those stiff joints after a long day on the river. Thanks Tim, for continuing a great line of owners to open up this beautiful home for renting.
My wife and I spent the first week of June enjoying this wonderful cabin.
We sat by the fire at night and watched a million lightning bugs light up the trees. We witnessed the local owl making his rounds. We enjoyed the hot tub during the cool night. We fished and swam in the beautiful Williams River.
The cabin was perfect. I can’t remember the last time I slept so well.
This cabin is exaclty what you need for a weekend to explore natures playground. It was so clean, very quaint and quiet. The river is just a few steps away or you can load up and go for a backroad cruise and find many places to play in the Williams River. The stars were really showing off this weekend and the sky was so bright. The hottub made star gazing much more relaxing! If you just want to kill time and drive backroads, you can hit the Scenic Highway, Cass Railroad, Snowshoe and other fun stops all within an hour or so. The property was perfect for our needs, and the owners were great at responding with any questions I had prior to my stay! Will definitely remember this place next time I'm heading to the mountains for some peace and quiet! The only negative thing I could say, is the stairs up to the loft bed were very narrow. I didn't mind it but if you're not really steady on your feet, or afraid of heights, I recommend sleeping on the sleeper sofa. The loft bed was cozy but the steps could be a problem for some folks. I thought everything was as beautiful inside as the propertt was outside. Well kept place!
We were under the impression that there was access to the river on the property, but there seemed to be private property in between this listing and the river. Aside from that we really enjoyed our stay and spent the weekend being lazy and enjoying the hot tub, the fire pit, and each other.
Thank you for sharing your beautiful cabin with us for the weekend. We didnt catch any fish but the escape from the concrete jungle and getting into nature does the soul so good. We really enjoyed everything about this place. Even woke up to some deer and a jake out in the field. An absolutely wonderful stay we hope to do again someday.
Nice little cabin. Very clean. Spiral staircase was a bit challenging. Especially if you need to use the bathroom in the middle of the night. We chose to leave our bags in the dining area as there wasn’t an easy way to get them up the spiral staircase. Some challenges in getting the WiFi password to work as the one provided upon booking was incorrect and password information in cabin wasn’t clear on capitalization. Overall nice place but probably won’t stay there again due to challenges in getting to the loft bedroom.
Water has no pressure, smelled like sulfur. No cell phone service even with the internet. No cell phone service or GPS in loc. TV kept buffering. Not handicapped accessible! All appliances need updating! Staircase going up to loft is very narrow. Road going to cabin is horrible! Nosey neighbor in RV next to
Property. Not secluded as described! No response back from property management with above concerns! Left a day early because of listed issues above!
