If you are looking for a true mountain get away experience away from all the hustle and bustle then come unplug and recharge at this unique stream front cabin nestled at the foothills of the 911,000 acres of the Monongahela National forest. Relax while listening to the babbling waters and watching for wildlife. Take a horseback ride through the mountains, cool off in the creek, enjoy a campfire or wet a line in the beautiful native trout stream that runs through the property. Enjoy the deck overlooking the creek or sit in the hot tub and relax. This is truly a peaceful place to relax and enjoy the outdoors.

This was our second time staying at the cabin. My kids looked forward to it for weeks leading up to the stay. My youngest went on and on about how it was the best cabin ever. Had a great, relaxing time. Got lots of family pictures that looked like magazine pics. Lots of options for Christmas cards as well.

The cabin is beautiful! Location is perfect for a quiet relaxing getaway. Outdoor area is superb! It's a perk when we can travel with our puppy children and have a place for them to walk and enjoy. The host has been extremely nice and answered all my questions promptly. Definitely want to return.

Awesome visit

This was an awesome cabin. We had a great time. To have such a great time when our children range in age from two and a half to eight year's, my wife and I are very excited in returning again someday when our children are older. My kids all had a great time too. They're reactions from initial arrival throughout our visit was pure excitement like Christmas morning. I would definitely recommend this cabin to anyone looking for peace and relaxation.

Very peaceful location. Enjoyed sitting on the deck and hearing the running stream. Cabin was very clean and exactly as pictured. Is very far from the main road (9 miles) but that makes it even more beautiful. Great not having internet or tv!!!

Hidden gem

We absolutely love this cabin. It is very secluded and quiet. We have been staying here for a few years now, and the cabin is very well taken care of and always looks/operates the same as it did the year before. The cabin is cute, cozy and clean inside. However, the outdoor area is the reason we keep returning. We spend most of our time outside when we stay here.We love the hot tub and watching movies on the outdoor tv. Our dogs love it just as much as we do. We cant wait to stay next year!

Such a beautiful property. My husband and I really enjoyed our time there. We had the pleasure of meeting Shelley when we first got there. She was super nice and personable. The outdoor space was our favorite spot and our dogs had a blast. If you have a chance, visit Kumbrabow State Park. We will definitely be coming back next year.

Weekend Quiet Getaway

The location is remote in the beautiful mountains! It was worth the drive to get there and see how wonderful the land and cabin was. The sound of the water running next to the deck was remarkable and louder than I expected. The hot tub was an extra perk to ease my muscles after visiting Cass Railroad and Seneca Caverns and Seneca Rocks . The grill was great for steaks. The kitchen was a bit cozy and tight. Not a problem just used to a bit more space. I do recommend to have a Stay here in Wild and Wonderful WV
