"Excellent stay! The property is located in the most beautiful area and the hot tub had a gorgeous view. Our host was kind enough to offer a tour of the property & introduce us to the sheep & their sweet lambs. The breakfast was yummy too. Definitely would recommend!"

"Very comfortable bed and plenty of room although bathroom a bit cramped. Nice furnishings, pleasant and helpful manager. The street is a busy one so can be noisy with traffic at peak times morning and evening as property on a hill. Also guest house is noisy as my room was on the ground floor so could hear noise from upstairs and the owners part of the house. Also the room I had was off the lobby so people coming and going made it noisy and no privacy from the street or other guests if the blinds...

"I did not like the apartment at all. The door handle fell off into two pieces one on the bathroom side and other on the bedroom side of the door. I got locked in the bathroom and my wife on the bedroom side. Took us 15 or 20 minutes to put the handle together thru the hole for the handle and to get it working again. The TV did not work at all!! No breakfast was offered. I did not not see or talk to a live person. Only furnished us a combination to the apartment by text message. Terrible...

"The only thing negative is the listing showed “Laundry”. That usually means a laundry room that one can do there own laundry. This was you call and the family comes to get it for a fee. It’s lovely in the open country and easy to get to. "

"We were greeted by Elizabeth, the owner, who showed us our immaculate accomodations with kitchen, breakfast and lounge areas. Breakfast was the best we had while in Iceland. Elizabeth shared her homemade and bread, cakes and cookies with us. All were outstanding. We took an evening stroll by friendly horses. Adjacent to the mountains, the views were stunning. Beds were comfy, rooms soundproof and dark. Highly recommend and would love to stay there again. "

"Wow, what a treat! We had the absolute best time at this guesthouse. The host was very friendly and offered great advice about the next leg of our trip. We had a lovely breakfast with homemade pastries from the host’s mother. There is a hot tub with an incredible view of the fjord. My only regret is that we didn’t stay longer."

"Room was adequate, clean, no frills. But the common area in a remodeled barn is a fantastic place to enjoy a meal, a drink, or play a card game, read or spend time relaxing and chatting. Large windows frame an unbeatable view of the mountain valley with a picturesque river running through. A great get away!"
