St. George Inn

"Clean, quiet room. Our bathroom was small but no big."

New decks! Gulf views, pool & Bch chairs, dog & kid friendly, affordable rates!
10/10 Excellent
"This place was SO much bigger than the pictures show! We were thrilled to see that upon check in. It’s like walking into a 90s Florida condo in the best way. The view was GREAT and the new decks were fantastic. The pool and beach were so close!! The only negatives were that there was dog hair on most surfaces but especially the couch. I knew it was a dog friendly unit but I didn’t think the couches would be covered in dog hair and random brown smudges. That part was a little gross. The main sliding door doesn’t lock - only has a bar to secure it. All that said, we had a fantastic stay in a cozy, beautiful condo that felt nostalgic and met all of our needs. I would highly encourage others to stay here. Just suggest asking cleaners to clean the sofas. Thank you for a great stay!"

Buccaneer Inn
10/10 Excellent
"The room was ground level so easy in and out. The room was very very big. Walk around corner to the beach. It’s an older place but a ok place to stay. It’s near everything."

Gibson Inn
10/10 Excellent
"This is a classic historic Inn extremely well-maintained with super friendly staff. You’ll love sitting on the veranda, having cocktails or dinner. The food’s quite good. The bar is delightful. I love the hardwood floors throughout even in the adjacent buildings which were part of the initial compound of the original owner back in the 1800s. Everything in Apalachicola is walkable and it’s a cute little town, especially if you like seafood."

Coombs Inn & Suites
2/10 Terrible
"I wish I could post pictures! This place was cold and dirty! I called the front desk begging them to cut off the air conditioner. I told them I had a bad back and more to the point my teeth were chattering because of being cold! NOTHING! THE PLACE IS IN NEED OF A GOOD CLEANING. BOTH OF US HAVE ISSUES WITH DUST, ALLERGIES! Between the extreme cold and dust, we missed one day of being able to go out. That was bad! On the home page... THE HOME PAGE WAS A BEAUTIFUL GAZEBO! WE PICKED THIS HOTEL BECAUSE OF THAT GAZEBO! WE DECIDED TO REDO OUR VOWS, DRESSED IN MY GOWN AND MY BELOVED'S TUX, IN FLORIDA HEAT! WE STAYED AN EXTRA DAY JUST TO DO THAT. NOT TO MENTION NOT BEING ABLE TO MOVE BECAUSE OF THE COLDNESS IN THE ROOM! HOWEVER...WE DROVE AROUND LOOKING FOR THAT HUGE GAZEBO! AFTER 20 MINUTES WE FINALLY CALLED THE OFFICE! WE WERE TOLD THIS GAZEBO WAS TORN DOWN YEARS AGO! YEARS AGO! WHY WAS IT STILL ON THEIR HOME PAGE? COOMBS RESPONSE TO ALL OF THIS...LESS THAN ANYONE SHOULD EXPECT. DO NOT GO TO THIS HOTEL! OHHHHHHH,,,,,,,,,, THE WALLS ARE THIN! WE HEARD THE FAMILY NEXT TO US DOING EVERYTHING! WE DO HAVE PUCTURES AND WILL POST THEM EVERY PLACE WE CAN! THEY APOLOGIZED ABOUT THE GAZEBO PICTURE STILL BEING ON THE HOME PAGE! ONE WEEK LATER... IT'S STILL THERE! HMMMMMMMM"

Ocean Breeze Beachfront SGI: Gulf-Front Escape for Families & Couples with Pool

"We had a great time! We absolutely loved the condo. It was well furnished and spacious for our group of 6, and our fur babies. We appreciated the easy access to the beach. The views were beautiful from the deck and the condo was stocked with all the amenities we needed. And Danielle was responsive to my questions. We hope to stay here again soon!"

MainStay Suites Port Saint Joe South

"Front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room did have a musky smell that I believe was from the air conditioner. Didn’t make a big deal about it because we were in town for a wedding and were only in the room to sleep for a few hours. As far as cleanliness, there were still a few hairs on the shampoo dispenser in the shower and a pube under the toilet seat. An attempt to clean the bathroom counter had been made but there were still a few smudges of soak and/or toothpaste from the previous occupants that I cleaned up. The room overall could stand to be remodeled. It was dated and the couch and chair had seen their better days. Very slow wifi which makes watching the tv challenging with all of the buffering. I guess I expected a little nicer accommodations for a $200+ room."
