"Our first time in the Northern Banks / 4WD section of OBX. We are hooked, we’ll definitely be back. We went in the off-season which was quite nice. The property itself is as advertised and very comfortable and spacious, and well appointed. The owner was extremely responsive and a breeze to deal with. I thought it was very good value for the money and appropriately priced. Highly recommend but hopefully YOU don’t book MY Thanksgiving holiday next year! :)"

"The Carte’s were extremely pleased with our stay for the 2025 Labor Day holiday. The house was amazing, clean and Phil was extremely helpful with answering our questions about the area. The best part of our trip was by far the wild horses and the seclusion of the Rusty Crab. We recommend booking a visit at this house and giving it a 10 out of 10!!!"

"Very clean and relaxing my family and I had a great stay At this house and my kids enjoyed the little scavenger hunt Activity that was left in the check-in book. They found almost everything on the list and they had a great time"
