"We absolutely loved Hiroshimanoyado Aioi. It was one of our favourite stays of our holiday in Japan. The traditional features of the hotel added to the cultural experience of our holiday. The hotel staff were the friendliest and most helpful of all the hotels we stayed in. The ambience of the hotel and the staff were entirely charming. The location right next to the Peace Gardens was beautiful, tranquil and convenient. We would not hesitate to book this hotel next time we visit Japan."

"ロケーションが最高なのに料金もとても安くて助かります。 周辺の島々も最高に景色がよくてバイク旅にはもってこいです。 周辺に飲食店はありますがコンビニなどはないので橋を渡る前に必要な物は買っておいた方がいいです。 宿には無人販売のカップ麺(種類が豊富)にジュースや缶ビールなどがあり おつまみさえ持参しておけばとくに不便はなく、なによりロケーションが抜群ですし、オーナーさんも親切なのでまた泊まりたくなります。 近いうちに必ずリピートする事でしょう。 "

"The staff was exceptional. They graciously made follow-up phone calls relating to a lost mobile phone and assisted us in locating it. Great location. Adequate accommodations. The major negative was the pungent smell in the room. It smelt like cooked cauliflower, which we mitigated by opening the windows and using air freshener."

"A lovely hotel, just in a messy place in Hiroshima. Staff were attentive. Breakfast options were very poor - I suggest eating out if you’re staying there. Basic amenities, but everything you needed. The area surrounding is ‘ladies of the night’ and not entirely appealing to families. "
