"Stayed here for 2 nights as part of a 24-day trip. The village where the hotel is located is quiet and about 20-30 minutes from the villages on the Alsace wine route. The young man who checked us in was helpful, but for some reason not especially friendly. The room was small, but was clean and overall comfortable. "Great place for walking and bird watching. Hotel is spotless and efficient but friendly. Only a few minutes walk from the train station and they give you a free ticket to use any train or bus for miles around. So you can be in the middle of Freiburg in half an hour. We were meeting friends so didn't try their restaurant. "

No A/C, but that is not a surprise for a hotel of this age in Europe.
