Hillcrest Village Hotels, Toronto

"We checked in as a family of 2 adults and 2 teenagers. We live in GTA (not tourists) and were looking to spend 2 days and one night Downtown. The location of the hotel was great. It was close to many attractions. The hotel was new (the lobby was tight but felt fancy) and the room was very modern, had big windows (we had a corner unit), and the Queen size beds were very comfortable. We were pleasantly surprised to be greeted by all staff (our kids were impressed!) everywhere we were in the hotel - It definitely made us felt valued! One of the reasons I booked this hotel was for the complimentary breakfast. I saw photos and reviews of the breakfast - it was fancier and offered a wider variety of items than most other hotels. It was a bit of letdown. The items weren't prepared as well as we'd expect from such a hotel. Also, the dining hall was large an crowed. Overall, it was still a great stay."
