Explore the campus of The University of Queensland - Heron Island Research Station during your travels in Heron Island. Wander the marina or discover the area's coral reefs.
Great coral reef gardens and myriad fish spoiled by a resort in decay that needs the owners to spend $50M or sell to someone who will. Would strongly recommend not staying on Heron Island. Terrible compared with other Barrier Reef islands.
Accommodation is in desperate need of upgrade and cleaning
Unique wildlife experience on a beautiful tropical coral quay. Turtles, sharks, rays and bird species were sensational.
