"Wilson Island is magical. It is simple luxury. Remote, untouched, but with everything you need for a relaxing stay. Nothing to do except swim, snorkel, read, enjoy the marine life and stare at the glorious views. I'll be back a third time."

"For a newly refurbished property the was quiet a lot of mould in the bathroom , grout , basin plugs and surrounding the shower . Could have been easily fixed with some proper cleaning . "10 minutes walk to surfers Paradise. Beautiful Ocean view with newly renovated rooms. Great service from the staff at reception. Heated outdoor spa is very warm on a cold day. Gym on the 27th floor has amazing views and the barbecue area on rooftop is very spacious."

Great coral reef gardens and myriad fish spoiled by a resort in decay that needs the owners to spend $50M or sell to someone who will. Would strongly recommend not staying on Heron Island. Terrible compared with other Barrier Reef islands.

Unique wildlife experience on a beautiful tropical coral quay. Turtles, sharks, rays and bird species were sensational.
