Paula was very welcoming, the location was idyllic and the vintage carriage was so unique and perfect. It was spotless and was equipped with everything I needed for my weekend stay. The location is wonderful, a short walk to a stunning sandy cove. It was also great to be able to use the Polurrian hotel facilities

Other thoughts - the claim of a lovely countryside view from the balcony of Poldark Cottage was a bit stretched! Similarly, the promise of a queen-size bed was an exaggeration (actually a rather small double) and we settled for the singles.
