  • In a row of whitewashed, thatched cottages in a Cornish fishing village, The Cot is one of those places where you can drink in all the atmosphere of Cadgwith and its history. Sunny and south facing, this cottage has been beautifully renovated to an extremely high standard, allowing you to enjoy the cove in very comfortable, stylish surroundings. Low beams, open stonework and original wooden doors - together with a secret room, possibly a smuggler's hidey-hole - all add to the appeal of this 16th Century property.

    You can enjoy freshly caught fish and crab in the Old Cellars Restaurant or in the Cadgwith Cove Inn, the local pub and social hub of the village. The Inn is the venue for a thriving Folk Club on Tuesday nights and traditional Cornish singing every Friday. In high season, seafood barbecues, fishing competitions, gig racing, a regatta and a folk music day are social highlights of this charming, unspoilt village in South West Cornwall.
