Great place!
Clean, modern, comfortable. It's the best of both worlds with a hotel and hostel. Plenty of bathrooms and showers, all single stall and very close to your room. Kitchen is tidy and well enough equipped. Parking is plenty and in an onsite lot. There is a train station nearby and this is in a quiet residential area. Only negative is thin walls and the only A/C is via an open window... So bring earplugs and also an eye mask because some of the rooms face a bright street at night.

Perfect stay if you fly early from HEL.
You get what you pay for. It is a nice and very clean place. Walking distance to the train station and only 2 train stops away from Helsinki Airport (HEL). The self checkin was well explained in an email and went very smooth. The area is very nice but I haven't seen much of it as I stayed for only one night. Although I missed a private bathroom, which was clearly stated in the room description, I would stay again in 20Rooms. @owners and employees of 20Rooms: Good job!

I was very happy with my stay at 20Rooms. Self check in was easy. It's close to the train station that takes you to the airport and central station. The room and shared bathrooms were clean. I did not use the common kitchen much but it looked clean as well. I would stay here again for the good price-quality relationship. Thanks Simo for replying to my emails.

It was an easy check in with the codes. Clean and comfortable. Quiet. Woken too early by an electric leaf sweeper outside though! Very handy for the station and only 2 stops from the airport.

Second time staying here. Just super conveniently near the airport for early/late flights. No frills, but the communal spaces are nice and welcoming.

Pretty much as expected, it was a brief stop between flight in and early train out, good location easy walking distance of the station, key codes all worked without a hitch, only slight grumble there was a lot of noise from the surrounding rooms, paper thin walls

Amazing hotel. Very affordable, but still really stylish inside. Comfortable rooms. Excellent location very close to the airport. The only complaint I have is the thin walls meaning I was woken up several times in the night by other guests (talking, snoring, watching TV, etc)

Perfect before/after flying from Helsinki
Very nice, would visit again. We stayed as an "overlay" between train and air travel. Much better than overpaying at an expensive hotel. There ho(s)tel had nice and clean areas to eat/lounge/work in. Only negative: The room was not 100% sound proof (I could hear quiet noises from the room next door) but with headphones on it was no problem.

Comfortable, clean, efficient stay
I love staying here and usually come back every year. This year I faced an issue I didn't face on earlier visits. I was having a normal volume conversation with a friend inside the room and it turns out the person staying in the next room could hear me because he started banging on the wall to make me stop talking. Bear in mind I wasn't being loud or anything; just a regular conversation. Perhaps the hotel could consider adding better insulation/ sound proofing between the room walls so as to minimize the carrying of sound between the rooms. It felt kind of weird to have to REALLY whisper inside the room in order to not disturb someone else. Other than that, I enjoyed my stay as usual and will be back

It was a bit confusing at first as to where the entrance was, but once we got in we were pleasantly surprised. Communication was quick and rooms were clean. Would stay again!

Ok! Would stay again.
20rooms overrall was nice and affordable. Only minus is the sharing the toilets and showers (I did not realise I did not have a private shower in booking -my mistake). I could not make the coffee machine work, but room was comfortable and nice. They did not do cleaning everyday.

Great place on a budget. Close to the airport.
I think this is a great option for a no frills and cheap accommodation in Helsinki, that is very close to the airport. It is sort of like a hostel (with shared toilets and showers), but everyone has an individual room with their own amenities. The check in procedure is very efficient. The day of your stay you get an email with the code to enter the building and the code to your room. You fill out a form with your details once you're in the room and leave it for the staff. It is very close to the airport (6 mins by Airport train - 2 stops away). Once you reach the train station, its a quick 5-10 minute walk to the hotel. There is a big shared kitchen where you can cook stuff if you like as well as coffee and tea facilities and so on. It really is AWESOME to find a place with this price in the city. Very clean and overall I really liked it. I will definitely stay again when I'm in Helsinki next time.

No fuss
Simple and clean. Just a short walk away from Hiekkaharju station on the ring line, only 2 stops (12mins) from the airport. About 20 mins more gets you to Helsinki Central Station. You check yourself in with doorcodes they text on the morning of your stay, and checkout is as simple as walking out before the codes change at noon. Bathrooms are shared, but there are several and they are spacious, modern, and clean. A comfortable, affordable, no-fuss place to stay.

Everything is ok, except some hair in the bed. We often stay here and we like this place very much, because it is situated in a calm and queit location and the train station is nearby.

The location of the hotel is perfect, just a few minutes walk from railway station. The room is big, clean and tidy. Bed is comfortable. The common areas are also very clean and tidy. Definitely a good place to stay near the airport.

Although we did not see any hotel staff during our stay, we received clear instruction on how to check in and it was a very easy process. The room and shared bathroom were clean but the walls are very thin. Unfortunately there was a family with young kids staying next door and we could here the kids running up and down the hall until very late night, making it very difficult for us to sleep. But it's close to the train station and only a 10 minute ride to the airport

Location was great for a layover flight. Try to stay in room 19 or use the bathroom opposite room 19 as this was like brand new and toilet and shower were in the same room

Great stay- close to airport
This hotel is perfectly located for a short stay in Helsinki. 2 stops on the train from the airport and then just 15 minutes on the train into helsinki Centre. Rooms very warm and clean. Bathroom opposite bedroom 19 is lovely but the bathroom next to the main living area could do with an update as there is no light in the shower- just a lamp in the corner which doesn’t provide much light. Overall I would definitely recommend d staying here if you don’t want to pay the ridiculous hotel prices in the Centre. Train is only 2.20 euro to get into Helsinki ! The owner was very accommodating and allowed us to leave our large luggage overnight as we left to fly to lapland for one night before returning.

clean and pleasant close to airport
you got an email/SMS the morning of arrival giving you the password to the main entrance and your own room. The room was very tidy and pleasant, common area and shower as well. Supermarket is within walking distance. Very handy 10 minutes drive to airport.
