"Beautiful, unique building with friendly staff. Room was clean, though there was a little dust on top of the TV. Excellent location next to the train station—just 11–13 minutes to Amsterdam Centraal.

"This hotel is lovely! The staff were all so kind and treated us very well. There is free coffee and juice in the lobby which was a nice surprise. Beds are very spacious and the AC was a godsend in the August heat. The only thing that is tricky is that the Zaandam train station is about a 10 minute walk from the hotel, and the area is not very well lit. This is obviously not the hotel's fault and they keep the property very secure, but just as a note! Would still highly recommend - it is a great value compared to hotels in Amsterdam Central! "
"The amenities on the map are either completely missing (like the boat rentals) or not working (like the trampolines). Of the facilities that were working (like the small pool) yiu are blocked from accessing these from 7:30pm, so if you do something during the day you will likely miss out on using these (like we did). The cabins are basic and close to each other, unfortunately our neighbours were partying until 1:30am so we didnt sleep well, and reception closes at 5pm so there is nothing you can do. The grounds overall are rough and unkept, we will not be returning and suggest others avoid this place also"
"It was my first time using digital passkey so it was a little confusing but nice way of going in and out. The room was clean and subtle. Bathroom was really nice. We came late night it would have been nice to have free bottled water In the fridges just like the complementary tea/coffee is provided as the places.around the area is closed. Other than that, really nice. I didn’t like the pillow, it was too high, I’m not sure why it was so high and small. The room also has a controllable AC. We left the place and came back at night and our beds were redone and it was really nice. "
"Well equipped room, comfortable bed. Friendly staff. Good choice of food for breakfast. Great that we could hire bikes from the hotel. Easy to get to and from the train station and didn't take long to get into Amsterdam.
Zaandam restaurants were nice but the walk there in the evening we felt uncomfortable with the many youths hanging about."
"This was my husband and I’s first trip visiting the Netherlands with our family of four boys! We absolutely loved the peaceful environment, the quiet, late night walks around the water and the central playground! Dinner was delicious at the local restaurant and they worked out our dietary needs of Gluten/Dairy free allergies with ease!
