"restaurant was delicious but waited 55 minutes for a burger and wings. Room was great but the bathroom was rusty in sink and bathtub, the ceiling tiles were chipped; sink tiles were chipped, but a pretty good experience 7/10"

The home is of exceptionally high quality, with outstanding attention to every detail — truly even better than described.The host is extremely organized, thoughtful, and genuinely cares about her guests. She goes above and beyond to ensure a wonderful stay and was always attentive and helpful.The property offers a wide range of high-quality amenities, which made our stay even more comfortable and enjoyable. One very special and memorable touch was the host’s thoughtfulness regarding our nationality — when we arrived, Brazilian music was playing in the house, making us feel immediately welcomed and at home.We recommend this property without any hesitation. "The motel itself is cheap and cheerful, but the people who own/run it are amazing! Very friendly and helpful. The view from our room was outstanding - one of the few places in Nova Scotia you can see a sunset over the ocean!!"

"Kitchen was very well equipped. Ownwe was ver responsive when plumbing fix needed. Pet back yard was very handy. Close to town made business stay very convenient. "

"Cabin was very nice but needs some small maintenance. Electrical plug at left of the sink has loose connections. Trim on left of bedroom "barn door" needs nailing. Shower has low water pressure. Only one table spoon in cutlery set and no serving spoons.These are minor issues biut would add to the enjoyment of the stay "

"Had high expectations going in and all of them were exceeded. The house itself accommodated 4 families very comfortably and every little detail was meticulously thought through - host Madison & Jody have clearly put their heart & soul into this place which honours the local Acadian traditions. The property overlooks the ocean which allowed us to take our time and walk on it at low tide. It is located in a quiet community but close to spectacular scenery and beaches such as Smugglers Cove and Mavilette beach where the kids swam and became master beachcombers finding large never before seen sea shells. This place provided the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of more popular getaways. In truth, we thought the Brier Island Lighthouse easily rivalled that of Peggy’s Cove - and we had it all to ourselves. The place feels like it’s off the beaten path yet still very accessible as it is only 25 min drive from Digby ferry. We all highly recommend this place. Any one looking to catch up with family & friends away from the blare of conventional tourist swells, where the only distraction is a stunning sunset and tidal movements that leave you awestruck, cannot go wrong with the Cove House. Fully satisfied."

"Great, quiet place to stay and get some work done. The surrounding area is very beautiful and the town of Yarmouth has just about everything you might need during a stay. All the appliances and things in the house worked and the hosts were responsive and good."
