"Love this property! The castle outside of our room was a absolute extra and so beautiful. The staff was awesome and I don’t know the name of the young man who did our housekeeping, but he was absolutely wonderful. The food was very tasty, especially the meat pie.! overall, wonderful experience!"

"My fourth or fifth stay at Arniston House cottages and once more perfect for my needs. The cleanliness and upkeep are top notch and location for visiting my daughter couldn't be handier. The quietness and stars at night with some beautiful fall cover in the day make this a perfect location especially if you are traipsing around the city in the day. Took me a day to figure out the fireplace/heating situation, but resulted in an excellent sleep that night. I would recommend a mattress topper be available as some may find the mattress a little on the too firm side, but that varies from person to person. All in all, excellent stay and would strongly recommend to anyone."

Didn’t confirm online dinner reservation request, but dinner ok, limited menu, but reasonably priced. 10% service charge annoyed me. Service was very good, but it should be at consumer discretion. Coffee cafetière, and fresh milk, in room most welcome, as was ‘proper’ glass (not plastic cup). Breakfast not included at £90 disappointing."

"Most of the staff were lovely and went out of their way to accommodate requests or needs. Service for meals was fairly slow, so plan accordingly. Food quality and temperatures should definitely be I Improved. While the property was lovely, the furnishings were a bit shabby and worn down. It wouldn’t take much to raise the standard and impression. Finally, the write ups and marketing should be more truthful about what can be seen on property and how authentic the current building truly is. Those looking for royalty to have stayed at the ‘castle’ will be let down."
