"Warm welcome from reception and we were given all the necessary information clearly and concisely. A courtesy call when we had settled in to check if everything was ok was a lovely touch. Use of the leisure facilities was included in our room rate which was excellent and we made full use of. Easy to get to the metro for transport into Manchester. Overall we have loved our stay, thank you. "

Exceptionally relaxed and helpful pre-flight stay

"Fabulous stay overnight to accompany my partner to the airport. After a horrible train ride involving lots of cancellations and FIVE changes, it was a dream to be able to check-in online and then use the self service machines to get our room keys. The room was spacious, bright, and clean. Super comfy bed. Reception, room service and staff were all helpful. Exceptional shuttle service to and from hotel to airport terminals and back, AND then to and from train station also. Zero effort and well appreciated. Tony, the shuttle driver was extremely helpful, polite, and made all the travelling to and from the hotel a breeze and a joy. Checkout online made leaving super easy also and is a great option for when you’re time anxious and want to head to the airport without any delays. Highly recommend for comfortable, stress-free stay pre-flying, particularly if you’re an anxious flyer or just need time to decompress before or after air travel. The included breakfast was to a high quality and standard, huge amount of choice and so great that it starts early and ends late. Well organised and well planned hotel stay that specifically caters for travellers. From now on I’ll always opt to stay at the Clayton the night before travelling. Loved it!"

"Flat 1 was clean and the kitchen had everything you needed. There were four adults staying and our issue was with seating. If you were all in the Living Room/Kitchen there was a sofa and two stools. You could not all sit around the breakfast bar for food or all sit comfortably watching tv. Not too big a problem if just a base while you're out and about. The shower control possibly needs looking at, and the shower screen seal as water seemed to cover the floor. Bedrooms were spacious and beds comfortable, there was an iron mark on one of the carpets. The flat was a 10min walk to the train station where you can get to Manchester City Centre in 10mins. There were a couple of pubs, takeaway and a cafe across the road for convenience. We would stay again. "
