"Very quiet "

"The property is outdated and could use some upgrades. The beds and pillows are not very comfortable. Our family found a tick in their bedroom next door. Additionally, at the side parking lot there is a step up on to the asphalt that is hard to see at night. My sister tripped over it and fell to the ground causing a black eye. This is a hazard and should be marked for safety. Otherwise, the property was mostly clean and was suffiecient for our short stay"

"The Hotel was exactly as described. The views were absolutely gorgeous. The staff were super friendly and attended to all our needs. The room was super clean as well as all the facilities. The restaurant was outstanding too! I highly recommend. "

"The hotel is beautiful. But the bed was uncomfortable, the restaurant was closed and there was no AC. Also I didn’t realize it was $38 extra per day for parking. You have to valet a car because there’s no self park option. We only stayed one night so I didn’t get the opportunity to use the spa but it was nice that they offer yoga classes etc. "

"This was our second year here during ski season with four kids ages 5-11. The home is beautiful and in close proximity to Mountain Village. The owners graciously allow their guests to use their personal ski locker at the base of the mountain for free, which is a tremendous benefit that made our days easier and saved us about 500 on what the Telluride Ski Valet would’ve cost. Tobin also happened to be my 11 year old daughter’s ski instructor at Ski School one day and she loved him and said he was so nice (thanks again Tobin for giving her poles!). All in all, we had great trips on both occasions and would strongly encourage anyone to stay here….its a Very nice and comfortable home and the price and amenities cannot be beat!"

"This vacation home was incredible—spacious, cozy, and well-equipped for a relaxing getaway. The hot tub was a highlight, and we loved having elk wander up near the house. It’s conveniently located close to many activities, and the host was wonderful to work with, with great communication from start to finish. Highly recommend this place!"

"What a perfect place to stay in the San Juans! It is situated between Ridgway and Telluride, with Ouray nearby as well, so mountain exploration possibilities are endless. The location of the bunkhouse is beautiful and although it's in the same driveway as the main house, it still maintains its privacy, especially with the deck. Also, the kindness of the folks living in the main house is unparalleled, so we could not recommend this stay enough!"

"A Truly Magical GetawayThis place is pure magic. The views alone make it worth the trip — every morning feels like waking up inside a painting. The peace and quiet of the surroundings, with only the sounds of nature and the occasional glimpse of wildlife, make it the perfect place to unwind and reconnect with the outdoors.The home is spotless and clearly well cared for. John designed and built it himself, which makes it extra special. The kitchen is impressively well stocked, with everything you might need to cook a full meal while soaking in those incredible views. Communication with the owner is smooth — you never hear from them unless you reach out, which gives you complete privacy while still knowing help is there if you need it.We loved exploring the nearby hikes, which offer even more stunning scenery. The roads getting there are fine, but we’d recommend a car with a little higher clearance for the driveway — it makes things easier.This was our second stay, and somehow it felt even more magical than the first.
