"No space to move. Shower cubicle encrusted with grime, basin without hot water, no toilet paper. Nobody available to assist with anything. Guests are given a contact number, but get hung up on if they ring it. On the plus side, the bed was reasonably comfortable. Seriously, do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else."

"This location is a bit up the mountain (I'm sure it is fantastic for skiing but we visited in August). As such, it is away from the nutty tourist centre and the views are fantastic. The local bus service is super efficient and a brilliant way to get to the top if you do not want to hike the slope up. The flat itself is spacious and bright. It was amenable to self-catering, and had excellent laundry facilities."

"We were surprised in many ways when we came to this property. The square footage of the place is substantial, adding the spacious terrace makes it even more enjoyable. Then the gorgeous mountain- and lake views add to the great location. Everything was clean as well as practical and towels were also available. When we come back to lake Luzern, this is definitely The Place to stay."

"It is as advertised. Room for 3. We got a 1st floor room with minimal view. They have 3 washers but they are busy all the time. Have a few appliances to cook food if needed. Would have appreciated small coffee pods since the grocery store nearby is closed on Sunday and closes early Saturday at 5. Also be prepared to take a bus to town for all activities."

"Communication with the host (Hanny) was very good. She responded promptly after we requested information a few days prior to our stay via e-mail. The location of the appartement is away from the village of Marbach going up the mountain (you need a car to get there). The appartment is on the top floor of the farm house. "Our stay was just about perfect. There were six of us, and we couldn't have found a spot that fitted our needs better (spending mornings walking and appreciating the local surrounds, and afternoons exploring Luzern, Interlaken, and lots of scenic places nearby). Their homemade cheese was delicious as well! The beds were comfortable, and the house had everything we needed. Highly recommend!"
