"AHGV5B594321b* We had the most peaceful, beautiful stay at Kenji's farm on Miyajima Island! First of all, incredible location. I can't imagine many other people would have a way to get to that side of the island, it was so remote. Ken was very kind and drove us to and from his farm, even stopping partway both times to show us beautiful views of the island. He also helped us pick some veggies for dinner and then we were left to enjoy the farm on our own. The house itself was beautiful and has had a lot of love poured into it by Ken. I would recommend anyone visiting Miyajima to stay here!"

"This was by far the nicest room/resort we have stayed in. After being cramped in many Japanese hotels and ryokans, this was much much larger with three queen/full size beds, a 65" TV and an outdoor bath (mineral salts available in the lobby). However, please understand that as this location is very remote, dining options in the area and transportation may be limited. This may be why we didn't see any foreigners there? However, they do provide pick-up service to and from the Shin-Iwakuni station depending on the room you're staying in given you contact them at least three days in advance. Although our Shinkansen was unexpectedly delayed by two hours due to rain/lightning, they patiently waited for our arrival and did not leave us stranded. Perhaps the only downside was that we only stayed two nights as I felt we could've done with some more downtime and taking advantage of the amenities including the bikes and SUPs. I hope to return again soon, staying for a longer time next time. Thank you Marissa Resort for giving us an incredible and memorable vacation!"
