Summer Cottage with Water Views at Great Hammock Beach in Old Saybrook

"My mother and I rented this cottage to attend my niece’s wedding in Westbrook on June 20. We couldn’t have been more happy from the minute we walked in. There was a lovely banana bread waiting for us and the home was immaculate. I love the magnetic doorstop by the back deck, which allowed for a wonderful air flow throughout the house. The beds were comfortable and there were plenty of hangers and all the closets. It’s located on a quiet street and there was no noise at all. We slept well and truly enjoyed our stay. We will definitely be back next time our travels take us to the old Saybrook area. Thank you both for a wonderful experience."

"This was the perfect house for our family’s long weekend getaway to coastal New England. The house was beautiful and spotless, and came with everything you might need and more. We loved the griddle, the hot tub and my son loved the game room. Would definitely stay again!"

"I brought my two small kids here for a week. The house was the perfect size for all of us. The public water access is just at the end of the road, and the Cornfield Point beach is less than a 5-minute walk. The kids loved being able to go to the water every day. I appreciated the views of the water from the enclosed patio. The neighborhood is very quiet, and this house sits just behind a 'castle' in the backyard. Phyllis was very easy to communicate with before the stay, as I had questions about the home being appropriate for the kids. The house is well stocked with dishes, towels, and coffee. Having the washer and dryer was a huge bonus. The air conditioners in each room kept the house very pleasant in the summer afternoons and evenings. I would definitely book this home again on my next visit to Saybrook."
