"Nicola was a pleasure to deal with and so generous. This house was an absolute dream to stay in. It was even better than we expected. Location is beautiful and peaceful and view just surreal. We are a family with 5 kids grandparents came along too and it was just perfect. Everything you would have at home really was provided here, plus more! We will definitely be back and hope to be regulars at Quarry Hill Lookout in Dover when in Tasmania!"

"The picturesque views of the Huon River and the surrounding hills and valleys are the face of this property. It features stand-alone and self-contained cottages that are spacious, clean and modern in design. We stayed for two nights in the soa cottage named Debbie Owen’s. Our experience ticked all the top-rating boxes. On top of it all, it is remarkable to highlight and note in our honest review that the warm bodies behind the “wonderful-ness” of this property are the hosts Ling and Tom who are accommodating, caring and ready to help. They even kept our cottage cosy and warm by turning on the heater on our late arrival. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts!"

"⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had the most beautiful stay at Driftwood Everything was absolutely stunning, peaceful and so thoughtfully done. It was the perfect place to slow down, relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. I highly recommend adding the extra food options too — they made the stay even more special and were absolutely delicious! 殺 We loved every minute of our stay and would 100% book again. Such a beautiful little escape — we didn’t want to leave! 懶✨"

"The house was magnificent, with views of the inlet, fully stocked kitchen, and (best for last) electric blankets on the beds!!! It was well positioned to walk to the waterside, with a nearby playground perfect for the kids, and an easy drive to the Hastings Cave and Tahune Airwalk."

Lune Mill River House

":-) We really enjoyed our stay at Lune River. The location is incredible with amazing views on the river and very quiet nights and mornings watching the stars and birds from the decking. The house is very close to all local attractions such as Hastings caves and baths, Mystery creek caves, Cockle creek etc which was for us the main reason for booking. We also certainly enjoyed taking a bath by the river. :-( Listing very accurate with everything needed present, although some of it dusty/rusty as a lot of the house is in quite old state. Would benefit from a proper renovation, but has an old charm to it. Do not count on cooking extensively, stove is very slow. We arrived in a very cold house (10*C), with no firewood and impossibility to turn on all heaters as the same time due to electricity issues (network fine for most appliances, just not light cooking heaters on). Lesley kindly assisted to get us urgently more firewood and we managed to get th place seemingly hot for the first night. We would have organised our day differently if we had known the place was so cold."
