"This Kingston home is in a quiet neighborhood located a throws distance from Hobart. Home was immaculate and very comfortable. We were a grp of 4 friends in 40’s - 60’s. This was our 5th home in 2.5 weeks. By far the most comfortable. Big points for the dryer as we noticed most homes provided the washer but not the dryer. "A cosy property perfect for a small group, the location is fantastic, easy walking distance to everywhere in the city and surrounds. The host was excellent and ready to help with any of our needs."

"The host was very welcoming and explained everything to us as we were guided to our accomodation. What a lovely surprise, a deck to view the rolling hills and river from, step inside this 1840 exquisite building and first thing that greets you is a cask of port with enough in it for 6 tipples sitting on that lovely deck (which also has a bbq btw). The bed was amazingly comfortable and the area is very peaceful. The host also suppies the many books he has written and published and he has copies...

"The cabin is beautifully appointed and comfortable. The location is just serene. The river is peaceful and we did manage to see a platypus. Location wise is great base for the Huon valley. We loved our stay and would love to return"

"The house is close to the Sandy Bay shops and restaurants and many of Hobart's iconic places. It has everything you need. For us, the bed was a little too firm but our son found the bed in the second bedroom very comfortable, so a matter of personal taste. The host was very accommodating."

We thought if we had been tourists staying in the Huon we would have expected some lovely local produce. Instead it was just Coles brand items.
