"We recently had the pleasure of staying at The Inn South Stainley, and it exceeded every expectation. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and genuinely pet friendly something we deeply appreciated as we were travelling with our dog. Our superior room was beautifully presented, spacious, and featured a comfortable bed that guaranteed a restful night’s sleep. The balcony opened onto the garden, offering a serene spot to enjoy a morning coffee while our dog explored the safe and well-kept outdoor area. It truly felt like a home away from home—for both us and our four-legged companion. The dining experience was nothing short of exceptional. Breakfast featured local, glorious produce, and the bacon and black pudding were unlike anything we’ve tasted before rich, flavourful, and perfectly cooked. For dinner, we had the sirloin steak, and it was genuinely the best we’ve ever had tender, cooked to perfection, and served with real attention to detail. What truly sets The Inn apart, however, is the staff. The team was friendly, caring, and impressively efficient. Their attentiveness and warm hospitality added so much to the overall experience. The location is great for easy access to Ripon, Ripley Castle, Harrogate, & Knaresborough, is a perfect blend of comfort, quality, and genuine hospitality. Whether you’re looking for a romantic getaway, a base for exploring local gems, or a luxurious pet-friendly escape, this gem of a place ticks every box. "

"Really nice hotel in an ideal position for exploring Harrogate. Choice of food available was very good and the staff were very friendly and always willing to help. The only downsides were the scaffolding around the building and that the council decided to re-surface the road last night. "

"What a lovely Inn, friendly and helpful staff, a really nice atmosphere. Will definitely be coming back as it is a central place for so many visits. The room was really well equipped, iron, a hair dryer, a walk-in shower and very clean. Nice coffee and tea, with a cafetière...not the Nescafe crap. Not cheap tho...£18 for a white wine spritzer and a glass of wine...Save up"
