"Quaint off the main road staycation location that is just the right distance from most major areas. Owner was very timely in getting back to us about any questions we had with the house. People have mentioned the multiple extension cords and connecting wires and older setup; consider the location like a Catskill cabin but closer down the Hudson Valley with some modernized upgrades to fit the house size particularly in the kitchen. All necessary amenities were included: cooking supplies, basic seasoning, coffee, cleaning supplies, etc. The heat was a little rough this week, but the multiple air conditioner setups helped keep us cool indoors; yes it was a little antiquated, but anticipated not having central air given owner's description and we were very comfortable. No issues with the washer/dryer, prior stay individuals might not have realized you need to leave the switch on when running the laundry until cycles complete. Plenty of outdoor seating spots for the 2 of us to play board games, enjoy the sunset, and just read. "
