"My boyfriend and I had a one night stay here that we overall enjoyed very much. The pool and hot tub are great. The sauna was out of order. The waterpark is also really nice, we did not use it, but we did walk in and check it out and it looked like it would be a really good time! The room was very clean, comfortable bed, and amazing pillows. Overall the property is beautiful and has a lot to offer. The staff is where we ran into issues. I booked a king room and when we got to our room, it was two DOUBLE beds, not even queens. Also, somehow we were put in a handicapped room and the shower was for someone with a wheelchair (not what we wanted or asked for.) The following morning, we called down to order room service for breakfast as I had paid for the package. Hours on Sunday are 7am-11an. My boyfriend and I called down at 9:30am and no one answered. I gave it 15 minutes and called back, still nothing. I did this a few times, until I finally called the front desk. I asked the gentleman if room service is available for breakfast and he said it is. I told him I had been calling the restaurant for an hour with no response, and he said he would transfer me himself, still nothing. When I called him back, he didn’t even say hello, he just said in an annoyed tone “still not answering you??” And I told him no. He said well there’s nothing I can do, sorry, and hung up. To me this is very unprofessional. If not for the staff, would have been a 5."

"Overall I liked the hotel and would stay again, but a couple warnings to others: I heard screaming kids from the academy across the street through my closed window until later than I would’ve cared for. It was quiet by bedtime and I wouldn’t expect kids to *not* be boisterously playing outside (they should!), but didn’t make for a relaxing afternoon/evening - in case that matters to you. I also found out the hard way that hordes of ants will infiltrate your room if you have any not-airtightly-sealed sweets. I’ve never had that problem before at a hotel, so I wasn’t prepared for that possibility. I chalk it up to it being an older building, so just keep that in mind."

"Host was excellent. Reply quickly to our questions. Place is nicely furnished, It was cleaned but we end up cleaning inside the kitchen drawers. There were enough plates pots and pans to make a meal even we eat out all the time. Location was excellent, close to major highway. Walking distance to the restaurants."

"Perfect homebase for our reunion weekend. I wasn't sure if the elevator would be necessary or not, but the unit is on the 3rd floor, and I was so grateful to be able to load all my luggage into the elevator and not have to drag everything up 2 flights of stairs. It is a beautiful, spacious, and luxurious oasis."

"If you're looking for a quiet location in a nice neighborhood, this is the place to go. The host was very good at communicating and the family was very quiet so there was no noise whatsoever from the main house. The house is lovely and very very clean and we would definitely stay there again if we were ever in the area."
