The hotel was easy to locate from the highway, and has a large parking lot. The staff were very friendly. The room was very clean. The bed was cozy, the heater worked great, and the shower was lovely.

Staff were very nice. The rooms were okay. Stayed for a night. It was decent for that use. My two biggest complaints were that the sheets were paper thin; I was freezing. The hallway smelled like weed and a candle. I held my breath every time I had to walk out of the room. For one night, it was fine but I don’t think I’d stay longer.

Clean room. Clean sheets. Ample parking . But getting to the room was a bit nauseating. Elevator and fourth level we're extremely dirty as if they haven't vacuumed or cleaned in weeks and hallway carpet was stained in many areas.

One staff person in particular was very helpful and did everything she could to save the stay. She succeeded. The rooms are damp. The clientele is eclectic. The GM was alright. This place is okay in a pinch, but I don't believe I would consider staying there again.

The staff was extremely helpful and made sure any problems we had were fixed. The only issue I had was how dirty the place was. There was someone’s hair all over the showers. The toilets were still dirty as well as the floors and walls were dirty. Many things didn’t work in the hotel. And not that it is a big deal but I have never been to a hotel without a blow dryer. Overall very kind staff Just wish the place was more cleaned

The staff was very pleasant. The room's bathroom sink didn't drain. There was no shampoo or conditioner or coffee maker in the room. Not very clean in the halls, paint coming off the wall in the hall area. The room appeared to be clean. The tub was old and had yellowed in spots. Parking was fine.

Honestly Worth the money we spent, we got to enjoy 3 days in downtown Salem whilst staying here at this property. The only bad thing is that there was a “cat pee” odor in the bathroom so we kept the door shut and even bought a bottle of Lysol spray so we can withstand using the bathroom. The vent in the bathroom was filled with dust as well. That’s my only complaint if you will. The staff at the front desk were very nice informative and helpful. I enjoyed my stay here besides the bathroom mishap but we didn’t let that ruin our fun adventures.

This motel is disgusting. The entire place smells like weed and cigarettes. The rooms smelled of mildew. Sheets had stains on them and all the towels were filthy. Hallways looked like had never been vacuumed they were so disgusting. No clock, hair dryer, shampoo or anything. There use to be an indoor pool at one time which has been shut down and just left to rot. Only plus was the location as it was close to Salem and Boston. Huge rip off and would never stay or recommend to anyone.

It was definitely better than I expected given the price and area. Room was clean and relatively quiet at night. The motel itself wasn't the cleanest (some trash on the floor, really gross looking coffee pots), but absolutely no evidence of pests, bugs, or mold or anything like that. The TV, fridge, shower, and AC/heat all worked. They make sure to check the ID of everyone that comes into the motel, which is a nice safety touch. The lady at the front desk was very nice and efficient. Main downsides: I was woken up around 6 AM by an extremely loud cleaning crew right outside my door, and it didn't seem like the property is particularly well maintained (chipping paint all over the place, dents in the walls, yellow bathtub, etc) - but again, better than I expected given the price. Also, there is at least one person living in a trailer in the parking lot -- potentially three more, but unclear if those trailers were permanent or just passing through. I spend a night or two in the North Shore every couple of weekends, so I have some regional experience with cheap motels. This is the best one I've stayed in. I had a better experience here than at the Plaza Inn down the road, although both are far better than the reviews online would suggest.

The room smelled like cleaning products in it once we arrived. It seems like they are slowly renovating possibly. If you have any sort of sensitivity to smell, take allergy medicine with you. The hallways smelled like spray with weed and cigarettes. There was barely any furniture in the room or art or carpet so it echoed. The bathroom also smelled like cigarettes even though the whole floor was “smoke free”. Parking was well lit and the staff were very nice. The front door is supposed to be locked and it did not work, as a heads up. A very basic motel stay. There’s also no radio/clock.

Room was clean, updated room other than bathtub/shower which was not and looked dirty. TV only had 1 channel, the pool was permanently closed, the elevator were outdated and kind of scary. Staff at front desk were constancy out front smoking and hardly at desk and our room key had issues after the 1st day of our 3day stay.
