"The room was large and clean. Good air con. Coffee/ tea facilities and a fridge which was very useful. The staff were helpful, friendly and professional in all the areas we used. The fitness facilities were totally adequate for our stay. The cafe was lovely with good choice and coffee which meant we could have a light breakfast without booking the restaurant."

"The pub next door has a nice garden but randomly closed on Sunday. The sink in our room wouldn’t drain & I reported it to the desk in the morning and nothing was done. The body wash ran out & I told the housekeeper in the morning - it was not replaced so we had to go down to reception later in the day. Randomly our towels were taken away half way through our stay. The floor in the bathroom had loose tiles. Apart from those issues it would have been fine. I also didn’t appreciate the 10 pound per day parking fee."

"Beautiful facilities - definitely book the spa and a treatment. The restaurant had a really intimate feel to it and the tables were nicely arranged. Great quality food and the breakfast was sublime (particularly the haddock). We will definitely return. Thank you Bedford Lodge for a fantastic birthday stay."

"We had a very last minute booking, but the staff were very attentive and accommodating. The room was good and spacious, located in the annex, it did not have bath, but we were OK with the shower. The food is good, the breakfast was lovely, however continental part has no porridge and no cheese/charcuterie, just corn and other flakes and bread and jam and some small pastries. Beautiful location, building, good and comfy beds and good service"

"We enjoyed our stay at The Centenial hotel in Cambridge. The hotel is ideally situated to walk to all the amenities the city has to offer. Straight line to the main shops, restaurants and colleges. The free car park for the hotel is a huge asset. The hotel is well run, the breakfast was excellent."
