The rooms are very spacious, service is excellent, the entire property is well maintained and spotless. Even the self-serve laundry is great!"

The building is very old and our room on the lower level had a very musty smell covered by excessive camphor. The reception is on the 6th floor, and our room was on the first floor - very strange, with no elevator going to the lower levels. It made for a difficult and awkward descent and climb for me, as I have respiratory problems. While breakfast was generous, we found the price to be quite steep for a ryokan with no dinner included.
