Independent in Hanoi

"Bugs, bugs and more bugs! This is an horrible hotel. We had booked the junior suite with the city view and we ended up with the deluxe double with window. We only noticed after the fact. So we paid more for a room we didn't even get. Then, for the bugs! At the first, the room seemed okay (except for the disgusting bidet hose with grey/yellow good). But my boyfriend started feeling something falling on his back while using the toilet. When he came out and we assessed, we noticed so many little worms with wings coming in from a hole. I managed to kill a lot of them. We notified the staff and went to eat. When we came back, he said he controlled it with a product. Once in the bedroom, bugs were no longer only in the bathroom, but everywhere up to the entrance, in the beds, on our belongings even if not on the floor. No matter how many we killed, there was always more and more. We asked for another room, but they were all booked out. We decided to leave and book elsewhere, the owner/staff stayed outside with us until we started walking away to figure how to get to another hotel as no grab can get you or any other transport from this street. It was awkward. He apologized, but I'm sure he knows about this issue. I had read a similar review from this place, but I thought it was a unique event. So please, do not book this place. It doesn't deserve 4 stars. "
