"We only stayed at this hotel for one night. After a long drive, we arrived with no real expectations when booking—our main priorities were having secure parking (note: there’s a €10 fee) and being reasonably close to Ghent city centre. What we loved about this hotel is that from the moment you walk into reception, it feels clean, modern, and welcoming. The family room we booked was surprisingly spacious and bright—I honestly didn’t expect to get such a large room for a family. More hotels should take note and offer proper double beds for families! The room even had a comfortable seating area, which was a great bonus. The only minor downside was the lack of hair conditioner. I always wonder why, in this day and age, hotels don’t provide it as standard. Many travellers rely on small travel-sized bottles, so finding it in a hotel always feels like a thoughtful touch. Other than that, everything was perfect, and we would definitely stay here again. "

"Warm welcome from staff on arrival. As we arrived early, I was able to leave my luggage in storage so that I could explore the city hassle free. After checking in to room later in the day, I noticed the door lock was faulty and raised this with reception. A swift resolution was made with relocation to a new room - hassle free. Modern, spacious, clean and well equipped room. Location of hotel was perfect for us to navigate Brussels. Most popular sight seeing spots you could get to within a 10-15 minute walk, with Gare Central Station being 3 mins from the hotel. Only could stay one night but will definitely return in the future. "

"The hotel is excellent. It is above the Brussels Midi Train Station, so it is very convenient for traveling to other cities/towns. It is a 22-minute walk to the Grand Place, which is a little far from the tourist attractions and top restaurants."

The room was not just a place to sleep; it was a beautiful, comfortable, and thoughtfully appointed retreat after a day of exploring Belgium. However, what truly sets the Liman Hotel apart is its incredible staff. The owner's friend who manages the property is an absolute treasure. His kindness and warmth made us feel like welcomed friends, not just guests. The most thoughtful gesture capped our stay: we had a very early flight and had to check out long before breakfast was served. Without us even asking, he prepared a generous and hearty "to-go" breakfast for us to take to the airport. This level of attentive and personal care is rare and so deeply appreciated. The combination of a beautiful, A-class modern property and this degree of genuine, five-star hospitality is unbeatable. We have stayed in many hotels, but the Liman Hotel stands out as one of the very best. If our travels ever bring us back to Belgium, we will not hesitate to book our stay here again.
