Hotel Vík í Mýrdal

Hotel Vík í Mýrdal

10/10 Excellent
"We stayed in Vik 7 years ago and I was very sad that the hotel we stayed in then was already booked. It all worked out for the best because we loved this hotel! There were so many dining options around as well as grocery stores and things to do. The breakfast that is included was amazing. They had many comfy areas to sit and enjoy a coffee or alcohol outside of your room or the dining area. We would look for this hotel again if we come to Vik next time we visit Iceland."

"First time staying at a hostel and it was a great experience! The Barn is very clean, modern, and has convenient amenities like daily refresh of towels, slippers during your stay, a bar on site, plenty of seating to relax, and they offer bar snacks up until midnight. The bed was also super comfy. We enjoyed opening the window and having the fresh Icelandic air come in. I would stay here again!"

"The hotel is clean, quiet, and in an excellent location. The breakfast offers a good variety of fresh fruit and cold cuts. I would suggest also including plain, unsweetened yoghurt, as during our stay only sweetened yoghurt was available.Overall, we had a wonderful experience and really enjoyed our stay. Thank you!"
